Your thoughts, memories and pictures

Thank you. No words can describe an experience like this, yet this is a long message.

«Hi Martin, First of all I would like to thank you for making wonderful experiences happen. Although I am able to get a sense of how you are being one with the notes that you play, I guess you will never experience the feeling of being in the passenger’s seat at a show of yours. I can assure: it’s amazing. The concert in Hasselt was the third time we were boarding your plane which guided us through many stages of emotions. No words can describe an experience like this. The first time we were able to attend one of your concerts was at the Motel Mozaique festival in Rotterdam, April 2018. We actually had the option to go to your concert or listen to Tamino (also a great artist). This was a pretty much life-changing experience for us. Not knowing what to expect we were caught by surprise the moment your synthesizer was on full blast. The moment that happened I checked the pillars in the church hoping it didn’t start to crack. We survived. It was amazing. Second time was in Tivoli in Utrecht, October 2018. We were gifted with a nearly 2 hour set in which you perfectly described yourself as „being the captain in your cockpit with the listeners as your passengers“. And it’s exactly how this experience feels. Once we noticed you we’re going to play a concert in Hasselt we immediately booked our „second home“ in Belgium which became one of our most beloved areas to spend at least a couple of days each year. Now for the good cause to see you play, plus two other great piano players. The highlight of the evening was simply the most perfect show we have seen you play. The biggest letdown was there was only one hour for this experience, but oh my… this was just amazing. Sitting front row in a really good concert hall with a perfect sound mix combined with an amazing light show… my goodness. The show started off with a couple of minutes pure piano… and now being on board for the third time, it’s just waiting until you turn away from your piano, but still keep on playing. The moment the Rhodes come in it’s just: „fasten your seatbelts, we are ready to take off“! Martin, thanks for sharing the music you create. We hope you will continue and be able to play concerts like this until the end of time. It’s a magical feeling. Best regards, Sander»
