Back to concert list I played a concert at Muzeul de Artă // Transilvania International Film Festival in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) on the 24th of June 2022 — if you were there it would mean a lot to me if you would share your impressions and thoughts and maybe even some pictures with me!
I've done a lot of music for movies, clips, radio plays, theater, dance performances or even fireworks in the last ten years. With what I do intuitively, it is obvious that the music can be transferred to so many other worlds, so whatever happens with the thoughts while listening can bring together the most diverse forms of art.
On the 24th of June I will give a solo piano concert at the Transilvanian International Film Festival in Romania. This will be accompanied by the premiere of the film "A Higher Law" by Octav Chelaru, for which I composed the music. Until now, I have lived these disciplines on different branches of a tree, but now I think they grow together again at the top. I am very much looking forward to seeing the movie in the cinema, giving a concert and visiting my good old friend Dracula.

Your thoughts, memories and pictures
First impression of meeting Martin -a free person who has clean and positive energy insight. The man who make a world better, gives people love and happiness. At the same time, looks modest, wears simple clothes, which adds to you more humanity and general understanding that is order in your brain. When you start to play, your are connecting with your sensitivity, deep and beautiful world insight of you. There was visible by your facial expression and body language. And the most interesting was, that your music is so delicate, that it goes right through the heart and leaves no one indifferent. I used to think that music was touching only for me, but at the concert i looked at the people ... and most of them were touched by music. Somebody moving, somebody flying with closed eys, somebody smiling and somebody crying. And after the concert a heart comments like " i was so touched", " his music has strong influence on me". Improvisation is perfect instrument to touch the hearts)
A blessed evening, I found myself into a true oasis of spirituality
Martin!!!!You came along silently and after the first notes I realized that it would be a meaningful event.And then, like a true master, you apologized because you hadn't firstly introduce yourself!!!Why?!? It was magic from the beginning!!!So much modesty and sincerity from such a genuine beautiful character!!!!!You managed to deliver indeed something special.Music which didn't need( too many) words, explanations, it deeply touched and resurrected some of the most hidden best parts of my soul.Music which flows like genuine images,you just opened your soul widely through the played notes and you managed to connect intimately with the best vibes of my soul.Because this is the deepest meaning of true art;to connect with the most valuable parts of your soul, to resurrect the most hidden best ones, to bring so much positive energy, to make the piano to be alive.What is art?!?! I don't really know;what is music?!?!I don't really know.But I know that Martin live performance was a blessing for my tormented soul.And at least for an uncertain period of time it is like a healing balsam.Food for soul.And that evening you fed my soul with this beautiful energy coming from your soul. THANK YOU,Martin!!!!!!!Always grateful!!!!!
Surreal
It was a surreal experience, I started dreaming about my past, my future, the people I love, everything... Than I opened my eyes and I was still there... There was nothing but music all around me. Gotta admit I was overwhelmed with emotions at some point but it was incredible, I'd do it all again...
